EPSD Academic Support

The Academic Support Center

Parents of academic support students in grade levels K-5 can visit the Academic Support Center located in Lincoln Elementary School to check out materials to help their child at home. Both reading and math materials, such as books, videos, games, manipulatives and more are available to parents.

We also have several materials available for parents such as: “How To Help Your Child With Homework”, the E.D. Hirsch, Jr. series “What Your (2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th) Grader Needs To Know”, and the “1-2-3 Magic – Effective Discipline for Children” Video.

The first time you visit the Academic Support Center to sign out materials, Tricia Gutman, the Academic Support Coordinator will meet with you to show you appropriate materials that are available for your child. Many parents like to bring their children so that together we can find materials that are “just right”.
