All About Me....

My name is Douglas Spadt and I am a 7th grade Communications Teacher here at Eyer.

I graduated from Emmaus High School in 1998.  After high school, I attended Moravian College and graduated from there in 2002 with a degree in Elementary Education and Psychology.  From there, I worked at KidsPeace on the Broadway Campus for 2 years as a counselor.  After KidsPeace, I taught at Centennial School of Lehigh University for 4 years in the High School and Middle School Programs.  While teaching at Centennial School, I obtained my Masters of Education in Special Education and also obtained Education Leadership credits from Lehigh University.  In 2008, I began teaching special education at LMMS in the Emotional Support and Learning Support classrooms. In 2012 I came to Eyer to teach special education in the Emotional Support and Learning Support programs. Finally, in the 2013-2014 school year I began working as the Pod 3 Communications teacher at Eyer.
