I have been a Special Education Teacher for 20 wonderful years working with students in Kindergarten through 9th grade. The East Penn School District has been my teaching home for the past 14 years.  In September 2009, I will begin my third year at Lincoln Elementary School working with 4th and 5th grade students.  I earned my Undergraduate degree in Special Education at Penn State University.  I am currently working toward a Masters degree in English as a Second Language at DeSales University.

My husband and I have raised our three children, all graduates of Emmaus High School, on our small farm in Macungie.  We are surrounded by beauty each day and are grateful for good health, family, and friends.  We enjoy bike riding and playing with our 7 month old grandaughter Sophia. This summer we are introducing her to the cute chicks we are raising, our 4 Pygmy goats, and 2 English Setter dogs.

During my professional teaching career I have had the privilege of working with individuals with Autism.  For the past 3 years I have been a committee member for an event that takes place each April.  The Lehigh Valley Walk Now for Autism has raised money and Awareness to help find a cause and cure for Autism.   Lincoln Elementary students, staff, and parents have been extremely supportive of this effort and I thank you all for your interest and generosity!

I hope you will find my webpage helpful and informative.  Please call the school 610-965-1636 or email if you have questions or comments.

Best Wishes for a successful school year!

Mrs. Eileen Crompton
