My name is Mrs. Vernon and this is my tenth year teaching. I graduated from Kutztown University in May of 2006 with a degree in Elementary Education. I began my career in East Penn at Shoemaker teaching fifth grade. After my first year, I moved to second grade where taught for six years and now am in my third year of teaching third grade.
I received my master’s degree in Classroom Technology from Wilkes University in May of 2012. Teaching is my passion and I enjoy every day of work.
My husband and I have been married for eight years! . We have two sons, Evan who is five years old and starts kindergarten this year. Owen is 2 years old and a boatload of personality. I absolutely love being thier mom.
Evan is very into Pokemon and Ninjago and is super excited to start school. Owen LOVES playing with balls, PAW Patrol, and Minons.
I am a HUGE Eagles fan, and although Mr. Vernon is in this picture with me, he is a Cowboys fan. Football season in my house is an interesting time!
However, Mr. Vernon and I are JUMBO Phillies fans and look forward to taking both boys to as many games as we can.
Sadly, this summer Mr. Vernon and I have lost our wonderful dog Holly. She has been truly missed by our family.
I look forward to a fun, entertaining, fullfilling, and successful 2015-2016 school year.
