CLIP UP/CLIP DOWN: This is a system I use in my classroom to encourage positive behavior from each individual student. Each student has a clip of their own. Every day, they begin on the "Ready to Learn" square. As the day progresses, students have the opportunity to either move their clips up, if they are going above and beyond, or clip down, if they are making poor choices. At the end of the day, students will record the square their clip has been placed on in their behavior chart. This chart can be found in their Home/School folder. Every Thursday and/or Friday I am asking parents to please sign the chart for the week. Please click on the picture above to see an example of the behavior chart and get a better understanding of what each square on the chart stands for.
BEHAVIOR BINGO:This is an all class incentive system. When the students get compliments outside of the classroom or work really hard together as a whole, we pick behavior bingo pieces. Once we get several numbers in a row, we recieve a BINGO. BINGO results in a mini-celebration within the classroom.
INSECT ERASERS: This encourages each table to work together. At the end of the week, whichever table receives the most insect erasers, they get to pick a prize from the treasure chest.
BUCKET FILLING: This is our school wide behavior incentive program sponsored by Mrs. Ringer.
