This is my sixteenth year of teaching math and eleventh year here at Eyer. I taught at Phillipsburg High School following graduation from college and realized that high school was not the place for me. I then taught at Nazareth Area Middle School for 4 years. I loved it there, but we wanted to move to be closer to my husband's job. I was lucky to get a job at Eyer then and absolutely love it & 7th Grade!!
I grew up on a farm and went to a small high school - Pen Argyl. I was involved in many activities in school including cross-country, softball, and track. I wasn't a star athlete, but loved being outside and with friends. If there was a club offered at my school, I was in it - Chorus, SADD chapter, LEO club, Prom Committee, Student Council, Honor Society, etc. I loved my school and encourage you to get involved to make the most of your years! I received my Bachelor's degree from Moravian College in Secondary Math Education. What a great school! I also received my Master's degree from Wilkes University in Classroom Technology. Since then, I have taken a few more graduate classes, but am finished for now.
I am married with two children. They are my life! I'm excited to watch them learn, grow up, and get involved in activities. My daughter swims and plays softball and volleyball. My son loves to run, play baseball and football, and swiml! We had a fabulous summer swimming, running, vacationing at the beach, and playing games.
I am very excited about teaching Math and I try to make it FUN for everyone!
