Here is a list of classroom expectations that my students and I have put together. Each day, the students in Room 41 will strive to be the best they can be!
1. Treat others the way you want to be treated.
2. Listen to the speaker.
3. Raise your hand.
4. Be respectful and polite.
5. Be kind. No bullies!
6. Work HARD, never give up, and make every day GREAT!!!
Students will be expected to complete all homework assignments each night. In fourth grade, you can expect 30-40 minutes per night. If a student forgets his or her homework, a "Homework Alert" will be sent home and should be signed by a parent then returned to school. Homework completion will be reflected in the "Skills for Successful Learners" portion of the report card.
This year we will utilize the Behavior Bingo system in our classroom. As students exemplify positive behavior, they will be given the opportunity to choose their reward. Students may either choose to put a sticker on the "Super Star Behavior" chart (prizes from Mrs. Ringer for every 5 stickers), or they may sign their name on the class Bingo board. When all boxes on the Bingo board have been filled, a box will be selected at random and those students will receive a prize! Behavior notes may also be sent home on an as-needed basis if any issues need to be addressed.
B - Being Respectful
I - Independent Worker
