Meet Mrs. Faisetty!

Welcome to 5th grade! I am so excited to be your child's teacher for their very last year in elementary school. It is an honor and I recognize this very exciting time for both you and your child. I know we will have so much fun learning and growing together.

This will be my 14th year of teaching. I have taught 5th, 3rd and 2nd grades.   I spent my first two years teaching here at Shoemaker, in 5th and then 3rd grade, respectively. Then I traveled over to Lower Macungie Elementary School, where I started teaching 2nd grade.  I taught there for two years, before the building closed, and I returned to my Shoemaker home.  I love working in East Penn. There are so many wonderful and caring people here.

I grew up about an hour north from here in a tiny town (We don't even have a stoplight!) called Kelayres.  It is near Hazleton.  I earned my bachelor's degree from Bloomsburg University. I have a dual certification in Elementary Education and Early Childhood Development with a language arts concentration.  I completed my master's degree in Higher Education through Kutztown University and most recently I completed my English as a Second Language certification.

I have been married for 6 years. My husband and I live in Whitehall.  Our newest family member is our curly haired little girl, Eva.  She was born on May 31, 2014 and  lovebug with a strong will. Our 4 year old, Cole, who was born on May 17, 2011 just loves being a big brother.  We also have a furry baby at our house!  That is our stubborn, big girl, Lola.  She is an English Bulldog.  Lola will turn six this September.

I am looking forward to a wonderful year with your family!

Please encourage your child to read my biography to see what we have in common and check out the "Meet Mrs. Faisetty" in the student's section of my website to learn even more about me!
