Math Chapters

Our Math series is the HSP Harcourt Math series.  Below are the units which we will cover in order.

Unit 1: Number and Operations

Unit 2: 2-Digit Addition and Subtraction

Unit 3: Data, Probability, Money and Time

Unit 4: Geometry, Patterns, and Measurement

Unit 5: Fractions and Greater Numbers

Unit 6: 3-Digit Addition, Subtraction, Multiplication, and Division

Each student will remain in their homeroom for a review of previous learned concepts.  At some point in September, math assessments will be made and students may switch to another second grade teacher for Math based on their strengths and needs.  Your child may or may not remain in Room 22.  The same content and curriculum is taught throughout each class, however, the pacing of each lesson may differ along with the strategies that are utilized.

Our Math series contains online components and resources similar to the Language Arts resources.  Follow the directions below if you would like to utilize these resources at home.
