Getting to Know Your Teacher...
This will be my eighteenth year teaching at Jefferson! I received my Bachelor's Degree from Penn State University and my Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Moravian College. I am currently enrolled at Wilkes University, working on my second Master's Degree in Classroom Technology.
I have taught kindergarten and fifth grade, and I am enjoying my tenth year in third grade! I have been married for seventeen years, have nine year old twins, Logan & Payton, a six year old daughter, Makenna, and a dog named Carson. In my spare time, I enjoy Penn State football, reading, playing at the park, shopping, and spending time with my family!
This is an exciting year to be in third grade! We are going to be learning about and integrating technology into our daily activities! We are going to work and focus on our problem solving skills in Math (and make your brain hurt a little), and we are going to be discovering the world of Science through hands-on, in-depth inquiry projects (so much fun)! You will also become very familiar with The Daily Five during L.A. time. I can't wait to start the new year!
