Green has never looked so cool!

Green Team

We are in our eighth year of recycling used paper at Jefferson Elementary.  Each room is supplied with a recycling bin. On Thursday mornings a team of fifth grade students go to each room and collect the paper. We count the number of bags and record our results each week. Every Friday morning on the Jefferson announcements we share how much paper we have recycled that week.  Last year we surpassed our goal of 100 bags!! Can we reach a higher goal this year?

 2016-2017 Goal = 120 bags

We have added a cardboard, marker, and printer ink recycling bins by the front office. Please feel free to bring recycling from home.

Check out our PSA to see what we can do to make our world more GREEN.
