HANDCHIME CHOIR

All fifth grade students have the opportunity to audition for the handchime choir at the beginning of the school year. Working with handchimes not only gives students a chance to learn a new instrument, but it helps to develop their music-reading abilities and basic musicianship skills. The audition will be brief and will consist of a short music-reading exercise.

Handchime choir meets for 30 minutes each week. Chimers will prepare a variety of selections to perform at the winter and spring concerts. Chimers may also have the opportunity to perform for the community at various functions...stay tuned for more details!

***PLEASE NOTE: Students may only participate in ONE of the following groups: Art Club, Yearbook Club, Handchime Choir. All fifth grade students will be given information about these clubs at the beginning of the school year.
