Welcome to Miss Russo's Web Page

Math is not a spectator sport.  Students will need to actively participate and practice often in order to be successful in the long run.  Homework is given daily with possible exceptions of quiz or test dates.  Students are expected to complete the homework with work shown to receive credit.  Students should also review their notes and prior homework on a regular basis in order be prepared for tests and quizzes.  Just completing homework is not enough.  The practice helps to put the information in the long term memory.  Students should come in for help after school by appointment, use the math help room, NHS peer tutoring, and study groups to get help as soon as they having difficulty with the subject. Be proactive and get help early so you can maintain good grades.
