Using Moodle & ePals in the Classroom

Español I - Voice recordings in Moodle to test pronuncation, intonation, voice quality and fluency. Recordings for the Third Quarter Common Assesment.  Our district has added a Voice Recorder application in Moodle both in the toolbar (through the html editor - unique to East Penn) and as an assignment.

Español II - Students are using the OU blog add-on module in Moodle to simulate an email conversation with a pen pal.

Español IV - Students have moved outside of Moodle and East Penn, and are using ePals to communicate with students in Spain in both Spanish and English.  Click here for a sample interaction between one of our students and her ePal from Spain.

Español AP - Students built an Online glossary in Moodle, with vocab terms needed for comprehension of story.  Click here for more information on using Moodle's glossary.

French AP - Students are using the discussion forum within Moodle to collaborate and communicate outside of the classroom.  They are also using Google Docs to peer edit and collaborate on proper grammatical structure.
